Happy to have found an honest auto shop in San Antonio! My daughter is a student at UTSA and she called me to say she'd picked up a nail in her tire. I sent her to Firestone to enquire about getting it repaired but they told her "it's too close to the sidewall" but would give us a "discount" on a new tire. My daughter told me it was closer to the center than the side so I checked around and spoke with John Hernandez @ Ken's Tire and Auto. I explained the situation and he said to have her bring it in. We talked about having daughters in college and he made me feel he would take care of my daughter in an ethical way. She took it in and they found there was no issue with patching it and they did so. John and the rest of the crew at Ken's will get all of my automotive business needed by my daughter's vehicle, without hesitation.

I took my vehicle there and felt good vibes upon talking with John. You see...I was afraid that they wouldn't take my national Warranty like most service stations. But John was very familiar with the claims process and also assured me he would keep me in the loop. He did indeed along with Robert. They were both very knowledgeable, honest, and humanistic. John walked me through the process and explained down to the detail of the mechanical issues. Same thing with Robert. I used the word humanistic because he understood my budgetary expenses, and discounted some of the price of what the warranty did not cover. I've worked in the investigative field before, thus know how to read people for deception. And this service station and two great men mentioned are the most nice and honest men.

Such a great family owned business. John the store manager was just an amazing person. He was super friendly and even had someone drive with me in my car to figure out what was going wrong with it. He went as far as having my car picked up to check underneath and had me put a glove on to show me what the issues were and allowed me to touch for myself. John took care of calling my warranty to see what it covered and even offered to drop me off and pick me up from home meanwhile my car would be worked on. Amazing customer service!
